Welcome to R&D Spain, the hub for new technologies inside Bull’s Strategy and Innovation division with the largest expertise in research and development projects.
The project EMERALDS, where R&D Spain led the task Mobility AI-as-a-Service, ended successfully on the 31st of December 2025 after 3 years of work involving the MLOps team.
The project GREEN.DAT.AI, where R&D Spain has led the WP Data management test-bench - Infrastructure and tools to support Dynamic Ecosystems - and the task Big Data Analytics Infrastructure and Federated Data Sovereignty Services for AI-ready Data Spaces, ended successfully on 31/12/2025 after 36 months of work.
The project CROSSCON ended successfully on 31 October 2025 after three years of work where the R&D Spain team has acted as the coordinator, the leader of Work Package 1 on Requirements and Validation Criteria, and the leader of Work Package 6 on Dissemination, Exploitation and Impact Creation.
The project RE4DY (European Data as a PRoduct Value Ecosystems for Resilient Factory 4.0 Product and ProDuction ContinuitY and Sustainability) ended successfully involving colleagues from the Data Spaces team. A final review was organized in Brussels on the 13th of January 2026.
ALCHIMIA, a project devoted to reduce energy consumption, emissions, scrap recycling, and improve waste management in the steel-making process, ended successfully on November 2025 after 39 months of work involving colleagues from the Trustworthy AI and HPC software products teams.
The XRECO project has finally ended after 36 months. To close it, a Final Review was held on December 11th where the consortium was able to present its results. The Edge team, represented Eviden in this final event.
The project NEMO has successfully ended after 37 months of work. To close it, the Final Review took place on December 1st, 2025. The project, led by Eviden, counted with several members of the Edge team.
The project ICOS, where Eviden played a crucial role acting as project coordinator, Key Exploitable Resources owner, technical contributor and exploitation leader, successfully ended after 37 months of work. It involved several colleagues from the R&D Spain Strategy and Innovation Edge team.
The project I-SEAMORE, where Eviden lead the project coordination and the Platform & Services work package, ended successfully on 31st October after 34 months of work, involving colleagues from the Computer Vision and MCS teams.
The project ended successfully on 30th of September 2025 after 36 months. Eviden acted as the project coordinator and led the work on Open Interfaces Specification, as well as the implementation of the Open Data Enabler and the SEDIMARK Marketplace front-end.
The project All Data 4 Green Deal (AD4GD), where Eviden led Work Package 5 (WP5) and Task 4.3, ended successfully on August 31st, 2025 after three years of work.
On November 13, the European Big Data Value Forum (BDVF) hosted in Copenhagen the workshop “Shaping the Future of Extreme-scale Urban Mobility Data Analytics as a Service: The EMERALDS approach”, marking the final event of the EMERALDS European Commission project.
