ALCHIMIA webinar

On 13th November, as the ALCHIMIA project was coming to a close, this webinar presented its final results and showcased how Artificial Intelligence and advanced data-driven methods are transforming the steel sector, supporting its path toward digitalization, efficiency, and sustainability.

Carmen Perea (ALCHIMIA's coordinator and R&D Spain HPC Product Team Leader) gave the welcome and introduction, while Raquel Lazcano, R&D Spain Trustworthy AI team leader, opened the Key Results & Trainings slots with a session on ALCHIMIA's Federated, Continual & Transfer Learning Platform.

The event highlighted the key exploitable results of the project, including training materials and industrial demonstrations that can be leveraged by Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs), SMEs, and research actors. Participants learnt about Federated, Continual, and Transfer Learning applications, AI-based process optimization, and Human–AI collaboration in real industrial environments. The event closed with an open discussion on collaboration opportunities and relevant funding calls.
