Aims at delivering a new architectural paradigm and a toolset that will pave the way for next-generation edge computing infrastructures, tackling the modern challenges faced today and coupling the benefits of low latencies on the edge, with the robustness and resilience of cloud infrastructures.

PLEDGER will deliver a set of tools and processes to enable edge computing providers to enhance the stability and performance effectiveness of their infrastructures, and edge computing adopters to understand the computational nature of their applications.

Our role

We lead the research and development on performance, QoS, and orchestration mechanisms based on SLA monitoring and analysis. We also lead the exploitation and innovation activities for developing a go-to-market strategy, among other activities. As project coordinator, we also take care of the Ethics requirements to ensure project compliance with the current legislation.
